German Mahogany and Gilt-Bronze Cased Bracket Clock, first quarter 20th century, in the Georgian style, decorated with pierced gilt-bronze mounts, a molded bronze handle on the top, the works set with six gongs and marked "Peerless", a product of Mathias Bauerle, Embee, Germany, h. 19-1/2", w. 12-1/2", d. 8".
- Condition: There is wear to the silvering on the face along with scratches, mostly around the winding port holes. Good surface to the metal mounts. One rear finial has been broken and shows of an old repair with adhesive. The interior of the clock looks fine. Pendulum is present. No winding key.
