German Meissen-Style Porcelain Dressing Mirror

ca. 1900, with serpentine sides and crest, the edges molded with pink and blue rocaille work, decorated with encrusted flowers, birds and putti, set with a beveled mirror plate, on an easel back.
h. 25-3/4", w. 15"

  • Condition: **In overall good condition. The top left of the crest (including one putto) has been professionally restored. Where the parts of the mirror are joined between the crest and the shoulders, filler has been applied (probably to add additional support). There are a few tiny losses to some of the flower tips. Mirror exhibits some soiling and accretions - all of which can be easily removed with cleaning.
