German Polished Brass Automaton, 20th century, in the form of a caged bird, marked "Ken D" in an impressed lozenge, along with "Germany" and a symbol on the base, h. 12", dia. 5-1/2".
- Condition: There is some craquelure and losses to pigment on the berry/fruit beside the bird. Light accretions and oxidation are present on the brass cage and base. The wind, pause, play and stop mechanisms are in working order. In overall good condition.
