Good German .800 Silver Kettle-on-Stand, the pattern introduced in 1891, by Koch & Bergfeld, Bremen, retailed by Hessenberg & Co., Frankfurt, the pear-shaped body decorated with spiral fluting and acanthus calyx, with acanthus-mounted "gooseneck" spout, rococo scroll swing handle and displayed eagle finial, the whole raised above a conforming stand with spirit burner, engraved on the body with baronial arms, h. 15-3/4" (19-1/4" with handle), l. 11", w. 9-3/4", 88.91 t. oz.


  • Condition: In overall very good condition. A few very minor scratches consistent with age. One stopper on the burner is lacking.
