third quarter 19th century, by Hotchkiss & Schreuder, Syracuse, New York (two forks by John Wendt, New York, New York), including twenty-seven teaspoons, twelve coffee spoons, seven luncheon forks, and six other pieces, with various monograms and retailer's marks.

  • Condition: **One teaspoon has a shallow 1/2" dent in the bowl, and the tine-tips of Wendt forks are significantly worn and rounded from use. The master butter knife and one teaspoon have noticeably worn details. Otherwise the set is in generally good used condition, all pieces with the expected surface wear and scattered dings and scuffs commensurate with age. Hotchkiss & Schreuder pieces marked "H&S".
