  • Provenance: Doyle Auction, April 21, 2004, to the present owner.
  • Notes: These were among a group of Egyptian tapestries commissioned in 1920 by Evalyn Walsh McLean, then the owner of the Hope Diamond, for her Washington, D.C. residence. The tapestries reputedly then hung in the Indonesian consulate.
