Gustav Stickley Quarter-Sawn Oak Daybed

early 20th century, model #220, knock-down form with six vertical slats on each end, bearing the red "Als ik kan" decal signature, 1905-1912.

  • Condition: **In overall good condition, exhibiting normal minor rubbing, abrasions, shrinkage and wear consistent with age.

    The assembled bed is tight and solid.

    Each post exhibits a vertical shrinkage line where two boards are laminated together. On one of the posts, there is a bit more of a gap at that line than the others.

    The upholstery on the mattress/cushion is in good condition. It exhibits some loose fabric and puckering at the corners.
