Impressive Restauration Bronze Patine and Siena Marble Clock Set

second quarter 19th century, French, the clock decorated with a figure of Hercules, gatekeeper to Mount Olympus, h. 20-1/2", w. 17", d. 7", and the six-light candelabra on lion-molded bases, with marble standards and lotus-leaf capitals, h. 28", dia. 10-1/4".


  • Condition: **The marble trim around the lower portion of the clock has numerous cracks, breaks, repairs and areas of filler. The rear access door is present, but lacking a set screw to hold it in place. Light wear to the silvering on the dial. The movement requires a silk suspension pendulum which is lacking. The candelabra have some chips to the marble along their bases.
