International "Wedgwood" Sterling Silver Flower Bowl

the pattern designed in 1924 by Alfred Grover Kintz (1885-1963), Meriden, Connecticut, the deep circular bowl with milled neoclassical rim, opposing scroll handles and raised on a conforming pedestal foot, fitted with the original silverplate openwork flower frog lid, monogrammed on the foot "H".

  • Condition: **Two very shallow dents (1/2" and 1/4") on the body, with a few other scattered smaller pinpoint dings, but otherwise in quite good condition. The lid is very slightly cupped and does not sit precisely in the opening, but is still firmly seated and fully functional. Marked (on the underside) with the International Silver trademark and "T53A / Wedgwood / Patent Pending"; the underside of the frog marked "Silver Plated Screen 15".
