Iranian Pottery Moon Flask, a tapered foot supports the cobalt ground flask, decorated with gilt Moorish panels of raised sanding, and red and white blossoms with green leaves and vines, the narrow neck mounted with gilt handles molded with leafy terminals, h. 13-1/4", w. 8-1/4", d. 3". The flask was presented to Joanne King Herring by the Shah of Iran, Mohammed Reza Shah Pahlavi.
