Irish George III Mahogany Lowboy

late 18th century, the rounded rectangular top with a molded edge, above a conforming case fitted with a central drawer over a shaped apron, flanked to either side by a small deep drawer, raised on cabriole legs ending in pad feet.

  • Condition: **In very good polished and restored condition, exhibiting minor mars and wear to the surface, and normal shrinkage and indications of age and use.

    The piece is tight and sturdy with no movement noted at the juncture of the legs and apron.

    There is a scroll tip that is chipped off the drop apron; it is present, but detached.

    Drawers slide freely.

    The single-board top may be a later replacement.
