Japanese Silver Teapot, Taisho or early Showa period, of bucket form, with hinged spout cap, shallow domed lid with melon finial, and swing strap handle, decorated all over with incised foliate scrolls and kamon, h. 3-5/8" (7"), dia. 5", l. 6-3/4", 13.42 t. oz.


  • Condition: Condition: Good. The finial is very slightly out of true, but otherwise no condition issues noted beyond surface wear consistent with age and use. Nice fuji mon engraving. Marked (on the underside of the body and lid) with the French "ant" import mark in use from 1893.
