Late Regency Rosewood and Giltwood Commode

ca. 1825, probably Irish, the rectilinear rosewood top over a foliate- and scroll-carved apron, raised on scroll-caved legs on paw feet.

  • Condition: **In very good polished and restored condition. The gilt surface exhibits rubbing and light wear. The table top has a high polish with a few scratches in the surface.

    Tight and sturdy. The top is firmly affixed to the apron. The legs are firmly attached with no movement detected at their joints.
