Notes: The Leeds foundry was the largest ironworking firm in the New Orleans area, with as many as 250 employees in 1874. The Leeds-Davis building is now the office of the Preservation Resource Center.


  • Condition: **There is a 12" x 24" welded patch repair to the center of the basin. Kettle exhibits some soiling and corrosion (rust and pitting) with abrading and losses to the rim edge. Kettle is in good estate condition and structurally sound. Condition is commensurate with age, medium and outdoor use.
