Louis-Philippe Bronze Dore et Patine Mantel Clock

second quarter 19th century, set on a pierced rococo base, the clock case in the form of a fanciful grape arbor, with two bronze children holding a bird, its nest at their feet, the dial framed with grapes and rocaille work, set with a silk-string suspension movement.

  • Condition: In good condition. There is a faint hairline to the porcelain face. Minor tarnishing to the metal case. No sign of damage or repairs. Pendulum is present. Lacking winding key. Never had a back plate behind the movement. We are unsure of its running condition.
