Louis XV-Style Fruitwood Armoire, late 19th century, the domed cornice with a carved foliate crest, above a case with two long doors, each inset with beveled mirror glass, above a shaped carved apron, raised on foliate scrolled toes, h. 103", w. 54", d. 20".


  • Condition: In overall very good condition, with normal minor wear, rubbing and indications of age and use. The door retains a functional key. The beveled mirror plates are very good to excellent. The assembled armoire is tight and sturdy. There is a veneer loss at the top outer corner of one door, approx. 1/4" by 1". There is also one area of slightly raised/bubbled veneer on a top edge of that same door.
