Louis XVI Oak and Marble-Top Console Table, late 18th century, the shaped rouge marble top with a molded edge, above a conforming fluted frieze with pendant central wreath and floral garlands, raised on shaped and molded legs joined by an urn-centered stretcher and ending in foliate toes, h. 32-1/2", w. 44-1/2", d. 21".


  • Condition: In good, sturdy condition. There are old repaired cracks to the legs. Scattered shrinkage from age. No sign of any carving losses. Appears to retain its original marble top. The marble has an old professional repaired front-to-back crack. There is an underside chip to the back right corner of the marble.
