Louis XVI-Style Giltwood Fauteuil, early 20th century, the rectangular back surrounding a pierced foliate musical-patterned splat, joined by scrolling padded arms to the like seat, raised on stop-fluted tapering circular legs ending in toupie feet, h. 36-1/4".


  • Condition: Good, old gilt surface with rubbing, scattered losses throughout and wear. The chair exhibits normal shrinkage and wear. No visible breaks or repairs to the arms or legs. One front leg is very slightly loose at its joint with an apron return. Upholstery worn through at the front edges.
