  • Condition: **Surface dirt in tan-painted canvas under keyhole frame. Not relined; signs of inpainting upper center with corresponding patch en verso (background/drapery); lower right with corresponding patch en verso (gold carpet); lower left (green trunk); areas of inpainting under left and center (wall and screen). In the tan-painted surface under keyhole, there are small areas of inpainting with some having corresponding patches en verso. Antique ornate gilt frame with stained wood liners and metal liner for keyhole; surface marks, nicks and abrasions.
