Ming Dynasty Celadon Tripod Censor on a Carved Wood Base, 16th/17th century, with typical color to the inside center and molded rim, on a bat-carved stand of later date, h. 7-3/4", dia. 13".


  • Condition: A 6" triangular-shape crack to the center well of the censor has been filled with some losses still visible, and there are three hairline cracks emanating outward from them into the cavetto. Crazing to the glaze is present throughout, and there are a few minor scattered nicks to the wood stand.
