Monumental Cast Iron and Onyx-Top Teller's Table

fourth quarter 19th century, with six square tapered and fluted standards terminating into paw feet, the ends with cast iron spindles, the later inset onyx top illuminated from below.

  • Condition: **In overall very good condition.

    The piece is tight at the joints and solid and free of wobble.

    The onyx top is in very good condition. No breaks, repairs or cracks observed. There are a number of small flakes along the interior seam where the two slabs of onyx fit flush together.

    Some scattered oxidation and rubbing to the finish on the frame.
