Newcomb College Art Pottery Vase, 1920, decorated by Anna Frances Simpson with the moon and palms, matte glaze with yellow, blue and green underglaze, the base marked with Newcomb cipher, decorator's mark, reg. no. KX23, shape no. 147, h. 6-1/2", dia. 4-1/2". Provenance: Succession of George S. "Dod" Stewart, Slidell, Louisiana.


  • Condition: In overall excellent condition. No visible losses, cracks or repairs. There is some very, very faint crazing to glaze, as is to be expected with age and use.
