matte-glazed vase, 1914, decorated by Sadie Irvine with freesias in white, yellow and green underglaze, base marked with Newcomb cipher, decorator's mark, Joseph Meyer potter's mark, reg. no "GJ32", shape no. "170" and "B" for buff clay body.

  • Condition: **In overall very good condition with no visible losses, cracks or repairs. Vase exhibits fine crazing to freesias in neck and to the inside. There is an innate firing anomaly (small glaze pop) near the base. Inside and bottom of vase have some soiling/accretions that are consistent with use and age.
