third quarter 19th century, retailed by Joseph Einstein, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, the handles with engraved rosette and palmettes and applied medallion, the pointed, gilded bowl with shaped shoulders.

  • Condition: **In generally good condition, with some scattered scuffs, nicks and wear. Two of the bowls have a very tiny dimple. Gilding well-worn on the underside of the bowls and around the upper perimeter. Engraving and medallions with minimal wear. Each piece marked on the underside with the James Watts "horse head and chevrons" trademark, "Coin" and "J. Einstein".
