Nineteenth-Century New York Coin Silver Mug, mid-19th century, by John C. Moore & Son, New York City (fl. 1832-1864), for Mulford, Wendell & Co., Albany (fl. 1842-1860), of octagonally paneled form with circular collar, with guilloche engraving, milled Greek-key banding and wire-bound tubular handle, engraved "Alfred Wild Gardner", h. 3-3/4", dia. 3-1/4", l. 4-3/4", 5.54 t. oz.


  • Condition: Some wear on the corners of the base, but otherwise no condition issues noted beyond the expected patina of age. Marked on the underside with the appropriate maker's and retailer's marks. A very handsome piece.
