Pair of Cast Stone Recumbent Sheep, second quarter 20th century, possibly French, each with its head turned in the opposite direction, h. 18", w. 23", d. 13". Provenance: The Estate of Gary Baxter Webb, Houston, Texas.
- Condition: Structurally sound and in overall good condition. Sheep exhibit some small scattered losses, surface abrasions and accretions (dirt, moss, and paint residue to crevices), which can easily be removed with a thorough cleaning. Condition is consistent as is to be expected with age and use.
