Pair of Chinese Export Porcelain Tureens and Undertrays, ca. 1800, in the famille rose palette, with orange diapered panels, puce pomegranates and swags of flowers, and scattered sprigs of flowers on the reserve panels, with gilt-trimmed orange handles, h. 10-1/2", w. 10-1/4", d. 9-1/2". Provenance: Merryl Israel Aron, New Orleans, Louisiana.


  • Condition: Excellent condition with no restorations, chips or cracks. Wear to the edges of both stands and covers. Flaking to the orange enamel on two handles of the tureens, with very minor scattered rubbing on the other two, and on the handles of the covers.
