Pair of Chinese Gilt-Bronze-Mounted Porcelain Vases 19th century, the two baluster-form gilt and enameled vases each with a hundred antiques motif applied on a white ground and French gilt-bronze ormolu mounts, the underside with a blue six-character Kangxi reign (1662-1722) mark in two concentric circles, h. 19-1/2", w. 8".


  • Condition: A few scattered firing anomalies and areas with thinning glaze. Some light rubbing to gilt and enamels and patination on the mounts. One vase has a small chip to one of the applied scrolls on the shoulder of the vessel, while the other has two nicked scrolls along the top of the vase's body. No cracks or evidence of professional restoration. Light wear is commensurate with age and display of pieces.
