Pair of Chinese Porcelain Temple Jars, 19th/20th century, each vessel covered with an aquatic scene and a lid with a red foo dog knob, enameled in a famille verte palette, with a six-character Xuande reign (1425-1435) mark on the side, h. 22", w. 11".


  • Condition: A few light scattered scratches to the surface and a few minor losses to enamel, particularly on the finials, consistent with the jars' age, material and usage. Some firing anomalies and abrasions to the interior of each jar. No breaks or evidence of repairs.
