Pair of Chinese Turquoise Glaze Porcelain Qilins

20th century, the mirrored pair modeled standing, each with head raised and mouth open as if roaring, with fitted hardwood stands.

  • Condition: **Both pieces in overall good and stable condition. An ear of one example has been cleanly broken and later repaired. An ear of the other appears to have been broken and restored, as has its tail. There are some minor chips and fritting to the glaze around the feet of both, one foot of one example has a more pronounced pooling and "bubbling" to the glaze. General wear and tear throughout; the stands with light wear and tear. Please refer to images.
