Pair of Cloisonne Vases, Attributed to Kumeno Teitaro (Japanese, 1865-1939) with a turquoise interior and underside, the body covered with an arrangement of birds and flowers on a pink ground, the reserves on the neck depicting a dragon and carp, h. 14-3//4", w. 6".


  • Condition: Some crackling to the interior and underside of the vase. A system of very fine hairline cracks and light rubbing to surface. Very slight fading around the birds. Vases are stable and wear does not compromise the structural or aesthetic integrity of the vase pair.
