Pair of Colonial Revival Inlaid Mahogany Knife Urns

ca. 1900, probably Baltimore, with chevron inlay, on ogee bracket feet with acorn finials, the lid on a ratcheted standard with a silver-plated shield-shaped escutcheon, opening to reveal a fitted interior.
h. 23-1/2", w. 8", d. 8"

  • Condition: **In overall good condition.

The finish exhibits light wear and a few scuffs; the inlay is intact with a few tiny losses.

On one urn, the catches to support the extended lid are worn and do not engage. The other lid is tight as it is extends and stays in position from that resistance.
