Pair of English Chesterfield Leather Club Chairs, mid-20th century, raised on turned bun feet and upholstered in diamond-tufted brown leather, the underside bearing a metal tag, "Made in England", h. 29", w. 42", d. 36".
- Condition: Both show scattered distress and wear to the leather. The seat of one has some repairs to the leather at their fold. It appears that an adhesive has been used to hold the fold together in two spots where the leather was torn along the fold. It is hardly noticeable to the eye. The other chair has some looseness to the leather on the outside left side. The tacks have come loose to about a 12"-15" section under the left arm where the side leather attaches. Both have an excellent look and great overall patina. They sit comfortably.
