Pair of French Restauration Giltwood Altar Sticks, second quarter 19th century, on paw feet, with molded crosses on the round bases, the reeded Corinthian column standards decorated with acanthus leaves, and the candle prickets set with tole drip pans, h. 28-1/2", dia. 7-1/2".


  • Condition: Structurally sound. Gold leaf surface restored with a few scattered tiny flakes around each upper rim and around the bases. One stick has a 1/4" long flake on the standard. The bobeches are likely later, and exhibit surface rust.
