Pair of French Signed Henri Picard, Enamel and Gilt-Bronze Cachepots

fourth quarter 19th century, the enamel decorated with flowers in the Aesthetic taste, mounted with eagle-head handles grasping rings, the top and base molded with piercing, on square molded feet, stamped on the inside rim, "H. Picard 45", for Henri Picard, founder and gilder working in Paris from 1831-1864.

  • Condition: **In overall very good condition with no visible losses, chips or repairs. A few of the bronze-mounted handles have some innate casting fissures. Both liners exhibit light soiling and accretions - as is to be expected with age and use.
