Pair of George III-Style Mahogany Corner Cabinets, mid-19th century, in the Chinese Chippendale taste, each with a molded and dentillated cornice above a blind fret-carved frieze, over a single astragal-glazed door, with two paneled cupboard doors below, the whole flanked to either side by stop-fluted pilasters and raised on a plinth base, h. 94", w. 38", d. 21".

  • Condition: Minor surface scratches, nicks and indentations throughout both pieces, all consistent with age and use. One minor loss to dental trim on one piece. Overall good, consistent finish. All hardware present with the exception of one escutcheon from one of the glazed doors. Both cases appear sturdy.
