Pair of Italian Polychrome Blackamoor Occasional Tables, early 20th century, each with a circular top supported by the figure of a squatting female Blackamoor, bejeweled and in exotic garb, with outstretched arms, resting on a plinth base in the form of a cushion, h. 31", w. 24", d. 19".
- Condition: Both are in "as found" condition. Both exhibit old repairs, filler and re-paint. Some chips and flaking to the paint, mostly on the arms and hands. Both are well carved with good details. The tray tops are later replacements. Both figures were possibly holding something in their hands.
