19th century, each oil on canvas board, including "Giovanni Antonio de Conti, Count of Modigliana", after Niccolo Fiorentino (Italian, 1430-1514) and "Torquato Tasso", after an engraving by Raffaello Morghen (Italian, 1758-1833) itself after Stefano Tofanelli (Italian 1752-1812), each with a "Costa & Conti/Florence/Medal of Distinction Italian Exhibition of 1861" label en verso (one partial), each unsigned.
Framed in gold-painted wooden frames with velvet fillets.
