Pair of Italian Silvered Bronze Candelabra

fourth quarter 19th century, the six-light candelabra with bases molded with griffin monopodia flanking pierced anthemia, and holding fluted standards set with oil-lamp-form arms set with grape-molded candle sockets, now fitted as two-light lamps.

  • Condition: **Each candelabrum is lacking its chains that attach from the column to the bottom of the arms. One of the chain loops (hooks) is lacking. One candle cup is bent. Both candelabra exhibit light accretions, oxidation and scattered rubbing/wear to their silver coating - all of which are consistent with age and use. In overall good condition.
