Pair of Louis XVI-Style Giltwood Fauteuils, early 20th century, each with a padded rectangular back surmounted by a floral ribbon crest, joined by padded acanthine-carved arms to the like seat, raised on fluted tapering circular legs ending in toupie feet, h. 39".
- Condition: The frames are in very good, solid condition. Scattered minor flaking to the gilded surface from age. No sign of damage or repairs. The seat fabric is showing deterioration on both. There are loose threads and gaps in the weave. The back covering on one is okay, the other with holes and loose threads. Seat height: 17".
