Pair of Mexican Sterling Silver Candlesticks, second quarter 20th century, in the Spanish Colonial taste, each with a tapering columnar standard with chased fluting and floral banding, above a domed foot banded en suite and raised on four acanthus feet, surmounted by a lobed vasiform nozzle, h. 10-1/2", dia. 4-1/4", 23.32 total t. oz.


  • Condition: Overall Condition: Good. There is a 3/4" dent on the edge of one bobeche, and both of the candlesticks have a foot that is dented slightly inward, causing a slight wobble; all easily reparable. Otherwise no dents, breaks or repairs noted. Surface scuffs and scrapes consistent with age. Each piece marked on the underside "Made in Mexico" around "Sterling".
