Pair of Restauration Bronze Dore et Patine Four-Light Candelabra, second quarter 19th century, the unusual reeded and leaf-molded bases supporting gilt spheres with figures of, respectively, Dionysus and a Maenad, each clutching a bunch of grapes and holding aloft grape-molded scrolled candle arms and sockets, h. 25", dia. 7-3/4".


  • Condition: In very good "as found" condition. Somewhat dirty, with some rubbing to the surfaces and small points of natural corrosion. Scattered wax residue throughout. Two arms are slightly loose, though sufficiently firm for use.
