Pair of Terracotta Covered Urns
20th century, Continental, on fluted and leaf-molded bases, the urns decorated with sprays of berries and leaves, and having double handles on each side, the covers with berry-molded knops.

Condition: **The lip on the bottom rim of one urn body (that holds it in place atop the stem foot) is lacking and there is a 2" x 4" repair with gray composite filler/adhesive to the same rim. One handle also has a small glue repair. On the other urn, one half of the inside lip on the bottom rim is lacking. Both urns exhibit surface accretions, scratches and small losses to their reliefs, notably the leaf tips just below the urn rims that are lacking their lips.
