Pair of Unusual French Bronze Six-Light Sconces in the Neoclassical Style, mid-20th century, on tapered leaf-molded backplates held by pierced bowknots, the cornucopia-form arms holding flower bouquets and molded candle cups, electrified, h. 35", w. 14".


  • Condition: In overall very good condition. No visible losses or repairs and patina is intact. These are heavy. The backplates are formed by three pieces. The sunburst acanthine finial at the bottom of one sconce appears to be slightly bent at the bolts and does not lie flat with the wall. These are electrified, but the wiring needs to be replaced.
