Pair of Unusual Pottery Urns on Wooden Stands, second quarter 20th century, the vases decorated with birds and flowers of Chinese export inspiration, with upper and lower trim matching the stands, the tapered wooden stands with painted decoration in the Moorish style, overall, h. 61-3/4", w. 17-1/2", d. 17-1/2".


  • Condition: There is a 9" x 3" repair to the underside of the everted rim on one urn as well as scattered chips and a firing crack to the foot rim. Crazing and small losses to glaze are present throughout. Two 6-1/2" shrinkage cracks to the wooden stands between the arches and the tops. Urns and stands have scattered surface nicks and abrasions throughout.
