Pair of Victorian Silverplate Wine Coolers fourth quarter 19th century, each of bucket form with embossed spiral gadrooning below a foliate band, with robust acanthus-mounted handles and gadrooned edges, fitted with the original detachable liner and collar, h. 7-3/4", dia. 8-1/8", w. 10-1/4".

  • Condition: Good. A few scattered bumps and scuffs. The collars and rims have some scattered black spotting. One cooler has some shallow dents on one side and some rippling at the rim, both suggesting some larger damage has been hammered out. The pieces have probably been re-silvered and show no wear to the plating. Each piece marked on the underside with the manufacturer's trademarks in five punches: "SW & S EP" and a crown.
