Pair of William IV Rosewood Occasional Tables

second quarter 19th century, each with an ebonized scalloped circular top, featuring a polychrome floral spray, above a gilt foliate and spiral-ribbed standard to a concave tripartite base with inlaid brass accents and an annulated edge, raised on ribbed ball feet.
h. 26-1/4", dia. 15-1/2"

Provenance: Bruce McCashin Collection.

  • Condition: **In very good polished and restored condition. Normal, very minor shrinkage mars and wear beneath the surfaces. The gilt has been renewed.

One table top exhibits some light surface scratches to the top finish that do not effect the polychromy.
