Paris Porcelain Bateau-Form Corbeille, first quarter 19th century, decorated with biscuit acanthus leaves, biscuit trim on the pierced sides and a striped base, h. 11-1/2", w. 16-1/2", d. 8".

  • Condition: In overall very good condition. The gilt and perimeter edges exhibit normal, fairly minor rubbing. At the back top edge of the rim, there is a small blemish, about 1/4" in diameter, where there appears to be a crack in the porcelain, with some attendant gilt loss at that point, and what looks like paint drips at that spot also. Similar small paint drips elsewhere.
