Rare Chinese Porcelain Vase, Qing Dynasty (1644-1911), probably 19th century, of baluster form with a splayed lip, decorated with a scene of two walruses on a rocky outcrop surrounded by waves, in underglaze blue with accents painted in underglaze copper, illegible mark in underglaze blue, h. 13", w. 7".


  • Condition: In overall good condition. Scattered firing anomalies throughout, including an area of unevenness about 1/2" on the mouth rim. Some soiling, minor nicks and light scuffing to the foot rim consistent with age, material and display. No visible cracks, breaks or evidence of restoration.
