Regency Brass-Bound Mahogany Cellarette on Stand
early 19th century, of octagonal form and retaining its zinc-lined interior, and its original taper-legged stand.

Condition: **In overall very good condition. Tight and sound. The surface has been polished, with normal mars, wear, some dings beneath the surface, shrinkage and indications of age and use.
The uppermost brass band has a soldered repair at its seam and a small chip/loss. The screws for the lid hinge are slightly loose, with two missing. The hinges themselves appear tight at their knuckles.
Lock and lock plate are present; key is not.
The interior basin retains a zinc liner.
The top band of the base exhibits shrinkage and some veneer repairs, utilizing both wood and filler.
Legs tight with normal dings and mars.
